1. Something that denotes my belief in a higher power.
Zach’s faith is currently characterized by a quiet evaporation.
2.Something that never did me much good.
Zach feels his faith has caused him to overcomplicate simple issues, miss out on many opportunities, and feel exceptionally guilty over actions that may or may not be wrong. He also feels as if the rewards for such behavior are not adequate to justify the expense.
3.Something that did me worlds of good.
Zach feels his faith has developed him into who he is today. It also shaped his value system, something that he still feels is of VALUE. He is just uncertain as to whether or not it is worth the sacrifices necessary to continue with such beliefs. Presently, faith is taking a brief hiatus as Zach carries on his misdirected existence in another direction.
4. Something that I cannot quite make up my mind about.
As is obvious, faith is something that has brought a lot of confusion and complexity into Zach’s current situation.
